Day 1

Today travel to Lahaska, Pennsylvania for a unique and historic experience. Our accommodations for three nights are provided at the quaint Golden Plough Inn located in picturesque Peddler's Village. This impressive recreated, old fashioned American village is filled with numerous shops and restaurants amid colorful gardens and winding brick paths. This evening dinner is included at the Cork'n Bull Restaurant situated in the village. Advance entrée choice of Salmon, Chicken or Sirloin of Beef.


Day 2

This morning travel through historic Bucks County. Witness a countryside filled with 200-year-old field stone homes, horse farms and unique concrete castles. A visit is made to the impressive 68-acre Green Hills Farm where Pearl S. Buck once lived. Here learn all about this Nobel and Pulitzer Prize winning author and savor a delightful lunch. Enjoy some free time for shopping in the quaint riverside town of New Hope. Later visit Washington Crossing Historic Park to relive Christmas night in 1776 when General Washington and the Continental Army crossed the Delaware. This evening you are free to enjoy one of the many dining opportunities close to your home away from home.

Day 3

Today we head for historic Philadelphia where a knowledgeable guide will show us the key landmarks of the city such as the Liberty Bell, the Rocky Statue, Betsy Ross House and more. You'll visit the new Museum of the American Revolution where numerous galleries, exhibits and theaters brings to life the history and continued relevance of the American Revolution. Later enjoy an 18th century inspired colonial meal at historic City Tavern and have a conversation with Ben Franklin. Dr. Franklin will talk about his life and times, and about Philadelphia and its importance to America in the eighteenth century.

Day 4

This morning visit Byer's Choice LTD, the home of the famous Caroler figurines before heading home with fond memories of this historic countryside of Pennsylvania.
